As part of our continuing commitment to upgrade and enhance the Fido network backbone, we will be installing 3 additional switches into the ring between Telehouse North and Telehouse West on Saturday evening.
The maintenance will involve inserting 3 new switches into the virtual chassis fabric and provisioning them in anticipation of connecting new customers in both locations over the coming weeks.
The maintenance is expected to be benign. In the even of any issues or failures we will isolate the new switches and rejoin the existing fabric.
Once the new switches are installed we will complete the ring and restore the fabric to a fully redundant state.
