We are planning on upgrading web-21 on the evening of Saturday 10th October 2015
This maintenance will result in snapshots being taken of the existing web-21 during the coming week with a view to a final snapshot being taken Saturday afternoon and synchronised onto the new hardware.
At which stage the old web-21 will be taken offline, the IP addresses moved across and a final offline sync being taken before we bring the new server online later that evening.
We will work to keep the downtime to a minimum however we do anticipate that there will be a window of 2-3 hours Saturday evening where sites may be unavailable as we complete the data migration. Certainly services such as email will be affected during this window, however we will try to keep the web content online with the minimum of disruptions.
