We will be performing maintenance on the ADSL network over the weekend to upgrade the firmware on our core routers.
This is in response to the earlier unexpected resets which have now been tracked to a problem with the BGP implementation on the Firebrick.
We have worked with the vendors and now have a firmware update which we believe resolves the issues we have been experiencing.
The upgrade will require 2-3 reboots of the DSL hardware. During which time connections should fail over to our backup servers however your connections will drop and need to re-establish.
We are planning to perform this maintenance Saturday morning between 00:05 and 01:00 (28th April)
