Following on from tonights maintenance and upgrades, engineers have now left site and confirm all services operating efficiently.
The faulty router hardware was replaced and additional memory installed to boost performance.
Works were initially completed by 3am however after detecting a further potential performance issue it was decided to extend the maintenance window and install additional RAM at around 5am.
A brief power down and RAM upgrade saw the router restored by 05:20. Owing to the new more resilient setup this second period of maintenance should have been completely seamless
