Following on from this afternoon’s issues with iph-core-1 we have identified a requirement to update the firmware on this router and associated line cards and the failover router iph-core-2
Owing to the urgency of this requirement we intend to perform an update and reboot this evening at approximately 10pm
The reboot of each router should take less than 2 minutes to complete and routes should converge within 30 seconds of the reboot. Once iph-core-1 has been successfully rebooted we will then upgrade iph-core-2
Customers who are connected directly via iph-core-1 will notice a brief outage. Customers who are dual homed should not be affected
