Monitoring has detected a faulty power distribution unit in London-1 (Hex)
Our engineers are currently en route with a replacement unit, which they expect to be able to install around midnight tonight.
During this emergency maintenance window customers may notice a period of network instability, and certain servers will become unavailable as they are rebooted and moved onto the new power node.
We anticipate the emergency maintenance window will operate between 00:00 and 01:00 Sunday 13th September.
A number of broadband and transit customers connected via core-1-b1 will also be affected as this switch is connected to the new power node.
We apologise for the inconvenience that this emergency maintenance is likely to cause, and would like to assure customers we will keep any downtime to an absolute minimum.
