We have recently experienced a number of disk failures, all from a specific batch of Seagate disks purchased in the last 12-18 months.
As a precaution we are in the process of performing full backups of key systems that use disks from this batch in case of any other (immediate) issues.
On this note, we strongly advise customers to ensure that they have their own backups of any essential / critical data. As a company we cannot accept responsibility or liability for any data stored on our platforms. The backups we take are for our own internal consistency, but are not warranted in any fashion for customer data protection
