We became aware of issues with web-11 at approximately 17:30 this evening
We believe there are one or more sites on the server which are currently on the receiving end of a DDoS attack.
Engineers are working to address the problems and will have more of an update in a few hours. Initial attempts to thwart the attack were only partially successful
We may well bring forward previously planned maintenance to migrate sites to newer hardware which incorporates more advanced DDoS mitigation services (web-11 is one of our oldest servers and an upgrade and refresh has been on the cards for a while. The new hardware has been soak testing for the last month)
