Owing to a maintenance error by our fibre provider over night, we have been experiencing some issues with asymmetric routing
This has had an adverse effect on some sites we host, and we are investigating why despite having redundant services in place that some customer’s have been unable to contact their sites as a result of these issues.
We believe that as of 09:45 this morning all routing issues have been resolved, however we are continuing to monitor the situation.
We appreciate that this is not the first instance / outage caused as a result of maintenance by our fibre provider, and are actively seeking assurances that this type of error/outage cannot happen again in the future. In addition, we are investigating options for alternative providers.
