We are planning to reboot all web servers Friday evening to install new / updated kernels and a number of small Operating System level patches.
The outage on each server should be less than 5 minutes in length. We anticipate starting the maintenance window Friday at 10pm and concluding before midnight as each server is rebooted in turn.
At the same time as this work is being undertaken, we will be replacing a management card in the server which hosts the control panel interfaces. This server will be offline for approximately 30 minutes whilst the work is carried out.
Incoming emails should not be affected as any mail will be queued on our external relays until the web servers return to service.
